11/27/2018 0 Comments Final blog postThe start of this year and the start of this class I had some past experience with using cameras. But not a lot. When we were sent off the first time to take some photos I knew what I needed to do. I did not know many techniques however. I would go shoot and hope for the best. Thankfully most came out fairly decent. But as the class went on I learned more than just how to take photos. I learned how to upload them into Lightroom, edit in photoshop. I also learned how to create photo books and slideshows in "photos". During this class I learned where good spots to take photos are. What time of day is best to shot photos. How important weather is in taking photos. And while going through this journey I also had fun. I tried to make my solo photo shoots enjoyable and not like a chore or other homework.
Throughout my photos that I have taken I obviously had some good and bad ones and some that were okay. There would be one shoot I did not like at all and one shoot I loved. It just depended on how it played put. However I would say that my still life shoot could have gone much better if I planned it out a bit better. I feel that one of my worst photos was the sunglasses. I just wish it would have a stronger light source on it to create a better effect. I would also say that my whole micro shoot was the best. I loved how they came out. I picked my pine tree photo as my best photo from this class. To me it feels like you could almost touch it because of the texture of the photo. I also included below some of my favorite pictures that I took along with a few from our photoshop assignments that I liked. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to take this class and learn as much as I did. And now whenever I take photos on my own I will take what I learned with me.
